Volunteer Program Information

Mrs. Barbara McKenney, Volunteer Coordinator

A huge thank you goes out to the thirty-plus volunteers who participated in the eleventh annual Career Fair for our 11th graders. They did an incredible job of explaining their career choices, educational requirements and job prospects for their chosen careers. The students heard about careers in the military, the restaurant business, small businesses, the legal profession, professional sports, graphic design, the arts, music, education, engineering, health care, law enforcement and other fields. Thanks again for sharing your time, energy and expertise with our students!

If you love your career/job, please consider volunteering for one or both of next year’s career fairs. We are always looking for new career paths to share with our students and can always use more of the tried and true professions (engineering, health care, lawyers and law enforcement), as it’s nice to introduce our students to different perspectives of the same career.

If you are coming into your child’s classroom and you don’t have a nametag, please contact me and I will get you one.
